Does your business need a Telegram bot?
Which tasks a bot really takes over, and when a regular website or form is the better choice.
Bots have become fashionable, and some businesses order one “because competitors have it”. But a bot is only useful when it takes specific routine work off people’s hands.
When a bot makes sense
- Clients already message you, and you can’t keep up with replies, especially in the evening.
- The same questions keep coming up: prices, address, opening hours, order status.
- You need quick booking without phone calls.
- You need notifications: visit reminders, delivery status, new enquiries for the team.
When a bot won’t help
- Selling requires a long consultation and a real conversation.
- Your clients don’t use the messenger the bot runs in.
- There is no process for the bot to automate — just a wish to “have one”.
Where to start
Write down the five questions you are asked most often and what you do in response. If most answers are the same every time, a bot will save you hours each week.
A bot doesn’t replace people. It frees them up for the conversations where a human is really needed.
